IFA Education
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
This policy explains how IFA Education, the education arm of the Islamic Finance Advisory (“IFA”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses and looks after your personal information when you visit ifaeducation.com, register your interest in the Islamic Finance Diploma, or study with us. IFA, 3rd Floor, Muslim Centre, 46 Whitechapel Road, London E1 1EJ, is responsible for your information; IFA’s own Privacy Policy, at ifadvisory.org/privacy, has more about IFA. We handle your information in line with UK data protection law.
Information we collect
- Registering your interest or joining a waiting list. Your name, email address, WhatsApp number, whether you are a brother or a sister, and your city and region. These forms are run for us by Kajabi, our forms and email platform.
- Your Online Form. If you go on to apply, our short form (Microsoft Forms) asks about your background, education, occupation, any organisations you belong to, how you heard about us (including the name of the person who vouched for you, if someone did) and what you hope the Diploma will open up for you.
- Booking a live chat. Microsoft Bookings records the time you choose and your contact details.
- Scholarship requests. If you ask about a scholarship, the form asks about your circumstances, including your financial situation, so that we can consider your request.
- Being put forward by a student. Current students can put forward someone they think would thrive on the Diploma. They give us that person’s name and contact details, and we ask them to speak to the person first. We use these details only to invite them to hear about the Diploma.
- Choosing a monthly or yearly plan. Before checkout, a short form asks for your name and email address and records, with the date, that you have confirmed how the plan works. This is kept with your contact record in Kajabi.
- Enrolment and payment. Payments are processed by Stripe, which asks for your name, email address and phone number. We do not see or store your card details. Stripe tells us your name, email address, phone number, the plan you chose, what you paid and any discount code you used, and we add these to your record.
- Using this website. Our website host receives your device’s internet address when a page loads and counts visits for us without cookies, and our forms platform sets cookies, explained under Cookies below.
How we use your information
- To send you the prospectus and the information you asked for, and to guide you through enrolment by email and by WhatsApp message from our team.
- To keep one record of your progress from registration to enrolment, so that our team can see where you are and follow up.
- To place you in the right WhatsApp community, as brothers and sisters have separate groups.
- To understand where our students join from, so that we can plan live sessions, seminars and time zones.
- To consider applications and scholarship requests, and to administer places and payments.
- To support you as a student once you have enrolled.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Our lawful basis
Under UK data protection law we rely on your consent when you register your interest and ask to hear from us; on steps towards a contract when you apply and enrol; and on our legitimate interests in running and improving the Diploma. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Emails and messages
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to stop WhatsApp messages at any time, by replying to us or by emailing admissions@ifaeducation.com.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the providers that run parts of the journey for us, and only as far as each needs: Vercel (hosting this website and counting visits), Kajabi (forms and email), Microsoft (forms, scheduling, email and our registration records), Make (which passes your details from our forms and payments into those records), Google (our team’s contacts, so that we can reach you on WhatsApp, and the fonts on our pages), Stripe (payments), Meta (WhatsApp), and the provider of our student portal, which you use once enrolled. We may also share information where the law requires it.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where your information is transferred abroad, it is protected by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
This website is hosted by Vercel, which counts visits to our pages without cookies and without identifying you. Our forms and emails run on Kajabi, which sets cookies that keep them working and help measure how they are used. Videos on our pages play through Wistia, Kajabi’s video host, which may set its own cookies. Our pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your device’s internet address when a page loads. We do not use advertising trackers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it to run enrolment and your studies, to meet our legal obligations and to resolve any disputes. If you register your interest but do not enrol, we keep your details so that we can tell you about future intakes, unless you ask us not to. When we no longer need your information, we delete or anonymise it securely.
Keeping it secure
We protect your information with appropriate technical and organisational measures, and this website is served over an encrypted connection.
Your rights
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete your information in certain circumstances.
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your information.
- Withdraw your consent where we rely on it.
To use any of these rights, email admissions@ifaeducation.com. We will reply within one month.
Contact and complaints
For any question about this policy, email admissions@ifaeducation.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection, at ico.org.uk.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page with a new “last updated” date.
